yep we have had 20 cars affected in Cambridgeshire and Ely

but this looks like its affecting those further afield http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6405051.stm

Have heard from a mate at a Citroen Dealer that they will not be covering oxygen sensors ,Under
warranty . So if the petrol knackers the sensor they will not replace it free of charge

It won't be the supermarkets fault anyway it will be the petrol suppliers.

I know the pimply youth in the kiosk is in no position to test the delivery from the tanker. But it common knowledge that inferior fuel is sold to supermarket fuel outlets. Less aromatics etc.

I have had high performance cars and m/cycles and have noticed the difference, so I do not use them.

But if I go to any garage and get fuel, my contract is with them  and they would be held responsible if it came to compensation. Not the refinery.

Still one good thing will come out of it. It will slow tesco's march for global domination.

MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

I bet the people who are running old cars are laughing, no oxygen sensors!

Pity I traded in my old Lada.

Not when the price of petrol goes up to cover the costs of their mistakes.

Very true Ace,
you can bet that the supermarkets ain't gonna stand the costs - the poor supplier will be screwed & screwed & crewed as before, as before, as before.

The Tesco domination thing has gone too far, they are opening another store near me,
there are already two 24hr stores within 2 miles.

I don't shop there any more or buy their petrol.
