Hi All,

We've just bought an Alton greenhouse that has been supplied with cement kerbs.  Will these be heavy enough to keep it in place or should we fix the kerbs to the ground and if so, how?
The plan is to lay a concrete perimeter footing to give level firm ground for the kerbs.  It's a windy site which is why I'm worried.

Thanks in advance

Just as well you asked. Our kerbs were loose onto a concrete 'wall' &, in the hurricane of '87 (was it), one end stove in a couple of feet. We anchored it overnight & eased it back with little damage.

The kerbs that end are now pinned to the base. But that's all. It is a sloping side one which helps.

They are the principle reason I purchased an Alton greenhouse I am now on my third.

When I bought my first one I thouroghly researched greenhouses and I was more than pleased with my first hence my reason for buying the second & third.

Thank you for your advice - I will try to secure the kerbs to the cement but not worry about it too much
