The snowdrops and purple hellebores are now going great guns.

They are stunning Robert.  We keep trying to grow snowdrops but they always disappear after a couple of years.

Robert_Brenchley

That's odd; I find them indestructible. Are you buying dried-out bulbs of the sort sold by garden centres?

Grandma

I'm with Flossie. Had some for years'n'years - only a few - some years they come up, some years they don't bother. This seems to be a 'haven't bothered' year. But I have hyancinths  hiacynths pretty spring bulbs showing colour in pots outside - so who cares? (Going to snow again soon! I LOVE snow! S*d snowdrops.) Sorry, had a v bad day. Off to bed. Will be better tomorrow. Night, night all. xxx

hope you're feeling better, gandma  :)

Hi Robert
We tried bulbs and then bought them in the green
maybe the cats dig them up?
Enjoy yours and please post again next year :)

Grandma

Back to my usual 'amost human' state today, thanks Manics!   :) And, dear Robert - sorry I was so horrible about your snowdrops yesterday. They are really beautiful and I love them. It was just being 'miz' that made me so nasty - (and a bit of jealousy too!)  :-* (Have left a note to myself not to post anything when I'm feeling so grotty! :-[)

Robert_Brenchley

That's OK. I really do wonder why you have problems with them if you're starting with decent bulbs.
