Allotments 4 All

After stressing about the cost of asparagus and rhubarb crowns i went to DOWNTOWN at Grantham today for some bits and bobs... I haven't been for a couple of months and last time I went they didnt have either... anyway my dobies list etc was rather hefty... but at downtown today they were all 1/2 price

Asparagus - 4 crowns 99p
Rhubarb - 4 crowns 75p

plus all seeds were half price!

Thanks for the heads up olive, i love downtown! I've never been in the garden centre bit as yet, so you've just given me a good excuse to go (yet again lol) this weekend!   ;D

Kitten make sure you go tomorrow - the asparagus and rhubard and garlic are together inside where the bulbs are heading towards the aquarium bit of the shop!

However  - Disappointed now I seen this. I paid £3 for 1 Victoria crown 2 weeks ago from a nursery.
