Allotments 4 All

It's not my top tip, but I was at a nursery yesterday, watering whilst the owner is away, and noticed that she uses the top of fingers of rubber gloves, to put on the top of sticks bought together for a pyramid! Not only stops you poking your eyes out, but helps to hold the sticks together as well!! Thought it was a good idea! Dottie P.  (oh and yes I managed to leave without buying a thing...but she is back on Friday........................)

Cor - this is a top tip, DP.  I'm gonna give it a try - might be worth video-ing cos if previous 'pyramid-making' experiences are anything to go by the canes fight back!   ;D  In which case I might have to resort to that nice unoaked chardonnay I've just discovered..... AC x
