We carry mobiles at work so that we can be contacted when out and about. The other day I came back to the office, put supermarket bag in the fridge, sat down and did some paperwork, answered the phone a few times etc...

At the end of the shift we checked to make sure all vehicle keys and mobiles were accounted for. Number two was missing. Yup, I had number two...it was in the fridge, in the supermarket bag!! It's official, I am menopausal!!!

Walked down to the village shop one Saturday morning  to collect the paper came home and wondered where the dog was! You guessed it! still tied up outside the shop.

Ahh, that's terrible, forgetting your dog......but has anyone else forgotten their child? ::)

Can remember waking up in the night, muttering "I wish that bloody woman would keep that bloody child quiet" turning over  and going back to sleep.....and also feeling oh!so smart! in waking up before the baby who showed a marked reluctance to take a bottle (ungrateful wretch)......completely forgetting that said child had been fed already...

I blame me ormones.....30+ yrs later I blame me ormones? :o :-\ ;D

Last week. Took the train from the East station into work (London) so I could meet up with my dear friend in central london for the evening.  Normally take the North station so was quite merrily convinced in my correctness that I needed King's X station to get home.  Arrived home at the North station and had to take a taxi across town to my car (ok, it's walkable, but I was knackered and wearing uncomfortable - but beautiful!- shoes!)

This week: Made a batch of brownies for the shop.  Went to the fridge to get an extra egg and forgot what I was looking for twice.

Lost count of how many times we've had to phone the cordless house phone to find out where it is. Once I was chatting to OH on it, walked out the door, locked up, got into the car and only realised what I had done when I started losing signal inside the car...

Mind you, none of it beats putting the cat in the fridge. Heee! ;D ;D ;D
