For the last week or so, most of the toms I have picked have been decidedly squidgy, whereas previously they were as hard as bullets.
Is this over/under, watering / feeding, or is it just the plants not getting the same level of sun that they previously enjoyed?

Have you got any botryis...? that can make for very squidgy toms..
???

Marymary

Useful information Saddad, I've got some black mould & had noticed some squashy tomatoes but hadn't connected the two.

:o Ooh err :o can you still eat these 'Botryis' infected Toms? Reason I ask, I think this may be what has happened to mine ::) :P

Svengali

I'm not sure I would recognise botrytis - I do have some leaves that look as if they are dying off though.

saddad

Yes Roy but if it has gone too far they will taste foul... just a case of suck it and see!
;D
