Allotments 4 All

Hi All,
I was pleasantly surprised to receive a letter from our allotment committee on Saturday to say i had won second prize in this years judging. I have had a plot for 4 years and last year I got commended, so I am trilled to get second.

Has anyone else received prizes from their local committee for their plots?

Yes!  I think we got the novice cup this year, which is great cos we are truly novices - only had the plot since the end of March.  And we got second prize for our lettuce abd third for our courgettes.  I'm well chuffed  :)

Cor, congrats Thomas, and for you greenstar!  We don't have committees and prizes on our site - shame, but I am hoping to have some veg to show in the local village autumn show.  Just must remember not to eat all of the marrows!!
