Spotted this on my corkscrew willow today - I think it's a vapourer moth.  Only the one so I left it to its own devices.

Vapourer is correct; you can't mistake these.

Thanks for the confirmation Robert.  Attractive little things I think although in numbers, I know they can be a pest.
