Ok, what am I doing wrong?  I have plants at home and on the allotment and just can't seem to get them to fruit, lots of lovely yellow flowers but nothing else happens  ???

it might just be that you sowed them late, if they are in the greenhouse there should still be time for fruits to swell - I sow mine in march or april

I can't remember when I sowed mine but it was early - I made the mistake of sowing them too late last year and although they fruited the winter came before they were big enough.
I have never had a problem with pollination - there are always massive of bees around the plants. Have you tried misting the flowers with sugar water to attract the bees?

calendula

never need to as the g/h door is open and there are so many flying pollinators - do you really live in an area where there aren't many, if so you could try pollinating by hand, just stick a small paintbrush inside around the pollen and then dab it in other flowers and repeat

Just walk along your rows of toms tapping the supports or plants that is enough to pollinate them.

Thanx, I sowed mine really early as well, i tried pollinating by hand up at the allotment but they don't seem to have fruited but this morning as I was leaving the house I noticed one or two husks on the ones in the garden, so perhaps all is not lost.

Thanx for the tips. :)
