Allotments 4 All

I saw the copper stick on tape that keeps the slugs off my hostas had fallen off the pot yesterday, and stuck fast to it was a very depressed looking mouse.  Poor thing was in a real state, and was getting very stressed. 

We managed to release it with some WD 40, not before it bit my husband though!

Oh no, poor mouse!  I use that tape too & it's always falling off - I keep securing it on with elastic bands but they snap after a while & it falls off again.  I was very sad to find a dead ladybird stuck to the sticky side once  :'( - & after your post am now really hoping I don't trap a frog - they are always hopping about among my pots (I keep accidentally poking one when I'm checking to see whether the soil under the foliage needs watering  - don't know which of us jumps more!).
