But to see one in all its sweet tasting glory when I've a complete row of mildly orange coloured roots failures? Pah!

Consolation? It's only a pic of one carrot. Spect that's your total crop then, KP ??? :P ;D

I was thinking "Russel Brand" when i posted the first one for you.

Must admit that the stubbies have me a bit confused.  too cramped i think.  plenty more where they came from though and NEXT YEAR I SHALL HAVE ROOM.

When I make my carrot bed, I dig down & riddle the soil of stones. So my carrots (when they darned well grow :() don't have to split their roots to grow round them.

These were from the bath which had nothing but pure virgin compost !!!!   :o

Maybe I should have sieved it but booger that !  and oh yee of little faith, they were mine, ALL mine !  taste lovely too, don't think many are actually going to make it to the table, i have a tendency to wash them under the hose as soon as i've pulled them and crunch on them going round the garden !  ah well, still getting my five portions a day even if no-one else is. ;D
