Stopped being lazy and have been looking on Google. Cannot find any relevant UK references, but seems to be used in the States on vegetable gardens. Came across a few warnings about tetanus germs though and a few recommendations to compost for 6 months before using it.

Tetanus?  Same as horse then!

All best, Gavin

Donkeys eat the same as horses, so I don't see why not.

It's probably only difficult to find reference to it in the UK as we have far more horses than donkeys and therefore much more horse pooh than donkey doo!
gone to pot :D

thanks.
Will be going to get some Eeyore doo and will let it compost until Autumn.

Mrs Ava

hehehe, donkey poo...now why does that amuse me, I am a grown up woman...not a girl....hehehehe

Oh well, if you can use pigs, cows, horses and chooks, I can't see why donkey isn't good!  Mind you, I now have images of me walking along behind the beach donkeys with the kids bucket and spades filling them up...and not with sand!  ;D

Equality isn't everyone being the same, equality is recognising that being different is normal.
