Maggots in my peas.

We seem to have quite afew maggots in our pods and so do 2 other people I know.Does anyone have any idea what these maggots are? There is 1 or sometimes 2 in some of my pods.

It`s pea moth-cover the plants with fleece if it`s a serious problem or just accept it happens

You can spray with crop saver (i've still got an old bottle) or somthing similar - but you need to spray when the peas are flowering as thats when the eggs are laid.

You can aviod the pea moth by sowing very early in the year, or now - later in the year.  ;D
