Ive been a naughty girl and  I think that I have overwatered my cyclamen. The plant seems healthy enough but had really dried out in the conservatory during the couple of days that we have seen the sun.  So I watered my poor wilting plant and what happens the corm has split down both sides and is oozing a kind of serous liquid.  So apart from laying off the water is there anything else I should be doing to save this beautiful plant? ???

Doesn't sound too good to me Mimi :(  Did you water from the bottom so that the plant could take up as much liquid as it needed?  I must say I am never successful with cyclamen indoors, they do much better in my greenhouse which is a shame because I do not get to appreciate them as much.  Such a shame about yours as they are so beautiful.
Happy gardening all...........Pat

I always water from the bottom and about this time of year rest them until they start showing leaves again in the Autumn.
