Allotments 4 All

Hi
I am wondering if i've over done it a bit as in one 18"(?) pot  i have;
1 Costo F tom,
1 Idli tom ( i thought it was a gartenperle and it would cascade down the side :P )
4 dwarf french bean plants..... the original occupants which i planted from seed but did not germinate until i had given up on them and put the toms in.
1 squash plant which has appeared out of nowhere as i didn't plant it, but i just can't bring myself to pull it out.

Amazingly everything seems very happy.  The Idli is has now hit he roof of the green house :o, with the CF close behind, and i have been harvesting the beans for a week now.

Crikey me!! You have the makings of a good competition there! If they are all growing well it must be ok, I guess, but I would worry about the feeding requirements of everything. I mean, how much would you put in? Double? Hope someone has a proper answer, I will be interested to see them!

Keep careful note of production  - you may set a record?

I know i put in some well rotted  compost right at the bottom of the pot when i planted it up initially as i know beans are hungry feeders.  I feed it twice a week instead of once, and ofcourse water it everyday.

Tim you're right i should keep a record. ... watch this space. ;D
