LOL tim, that's what mine looked like last year too (I'm about three weeks behind you :-[)
I took advice from here and refused to look at the transplants for a week, by which time they'd perked up again :)

I know EXACLTY how you feel! My chooks ate 2 lots of seedlings - many ready to plant out! So 3rd time lucky i bought one of those plastic greehouse things.... Anything on the top shelf has been frazzled completely, i can open the door to it or else the chickens will get in... In fact I darent go down the lotty even and see what is happening there... am not having much luck with this lotty lark!

That's the stage mine are at as well. The ones that are still in their trays are bigger.
