...continues to grow.  I've managed to squeeze in the cucumbers and basil since last time I posted and the beans have now germinated.   ;D  G x

Georgie. It amazes me how much you get in what appears to be a small area. I keep saying to myself.... I haven't got room for this or that. I think I will be looking at things differently after looking at the photos you have posted. I have this year removed two conifers and have made that area in to a shrub place. On the other side I have had two more conifers removed and I am growing runner beans, lettuce, radish, spring onions, carrots, squash and pumpkin (only one out there at moment!!) Tomatoes and cucumbers are in the greenhouse. Had radish and lettuce this weekend. Wahoo!!
I am now planning improvements for next year :)

Lady Cosmos

That looks very very nice, Georgie.  Healthy plants, Keep an eye at the slugs >:(

Leonnie

that's lovely Georgie, is that celery in the last photo?

Mrs Ava

Fabulous and it all looks so healthy and lush!!  It is amazing what you can grow in pots, but you just need the pots, and you do!  Keep showing us the piccies!

Georgie

Thanks everyone.

Lorna.  I grow the lettuce and radishes in the mini greenhouse.  I had some yesterday too - great isn't it?

SS.  Tardis garden.  Love it!

LC, I wage a running battle with slugs and snails.  I have loads of 'em but what with coffee grounds, egg shells, picking off into saline baths, the frogs and toads and the occasional sprinkling of organic pellets I just about stay on top of them.

Yes, AB, that is a self-blanching celery, three whole pots of them.   ;D

Will do Emma. ;D

So that's what Tiny tim looks like, had three half trays of pricked out seedlings on the plant sale stall last week. Watch that cape Gooseberry, they can be huge!
;D

Georgie

Tis okay, saddad, the plant is from seed collected from last year.  :D

Thanks for your PM georgie, yours looks great. I've got runner beans and broad beans, tomato, fenugreek, mustard, baby mint and fennel. Would love some runner beans (dwarf) if you have any. PM me if you want fenugreek, corriander, or fennel.

Crikey g, where do you put it all! Flowers on your toms too!

You can 'dwarf' runner beans by pinching them out at the height you want too, they will just put out side shoots and you pinch them out and so on ...
I have some lovely yellowy green-leafed runners to spare if you like - the effect is like the golden leaves of G's thyme, but bigger - they grew fine as dwarves last year. PM if you're interested chaps ::)

Georgie

Tardis, my dear, as you know!   ;)

Mrs Ava

Breathtaking of course Georgie.

Georgie, how beautiful - its opened my eyes and made me think about my space.  Have a spare cucumber and 4/5 spare courgettes which I shall pot up tonight, once the heat of the day has gone.

Thanks for the inspiration

Georgie

Hi MC.  I've never been called an inspiration before.  Thanks and good luck with your potted veggies.   ;D
