Allotments 4 All

Two questions, short of ordering on line can anybody recommend a good source of Tartaric Acid, most of the chemists are being "chained" in our area and the big ones like Boots seem to have got rid of Homebrewing so it is getting harder to find.
Secondly does the Black Elderflower (Sambucus Niger?) produce flower heads that I can use, at the moment we scavenge off the allotments but would like a secure source but can't bring myself to cultivate a common Elder.
