Does anyone have any seeds/seedlings of bay, rosemary or borage.  I have tried to grow the rosemary and bay from cuttings but I think I'm far too amateur to be successful

Thanks

BBB.....rosemary layers v. easily...if you can 'adopt' a branch of someone's,  peg it down and hey presto! you've got yourself a sizeable plant :)

I've got some seed for blue flowered or white flowered borage. If you are interested in either, or both, let me know and PM me your addie and I can pop some seed in the post to you :)

Alishka, peg it down?  Sorry I am completely new to this so a bit of an idiot.  Could you explain it for me please

Hyacinth

Sorry, BBB....to explain....

choose branches which are growing low to the ground. Make a little nick on the underside...PEG IT DOWN :P at that point with  a U-shaped piece of wire, for example, cover that point with soil - and wait. One can often find that the rosemary has naturally layered itself - worth scrabbling around and taking a look. I've 4 large rosemary bushes at the mo. in my garden and given quite a few away.....all made by this method.

G'luck. Lishka
