Allotments 4 All

I need to find a plant for my bog garden which has a trailing/ground cover habit, which i can safely plant near the edge of my pond. I am hoping i can find something that will grow over the pond edging and trail into the water happilyand provide ground cover in the bog garden itself. its also a small area so nothing too rampant or invasive please
