stopping USA sites on google

Does anyone know hoe to copletely stop USA sites from appearing on google searches, as i still get then when clicking Uk sites only ?

On the Google home page there are some radio buttons. the default one is search the web. you need to click the button for U.K. There is also one for search for images. Hope this helps

You might well be the loser, Ricardo.
The U.S of A is a far more open access country than here.

It's nearly impossible because of the way google works.  You could use -usa and -america to remove sites using these words but could end up removing UK sites as well...  On the plus side, by searching uk sites only, it does reduce the number of foreign sites...

I use it, not because I'm anti the rest of the world, but because I sometimes want UK based information.

When I am looking for a plant with a view to purchasing, USA sites are not a lot of use and by removing them from the search it does make it a lot quicker.
Gardening is the great leveller.

Use Yahoo, that removes USA sites quite well

Go into the address bar and where it says google.com change it to google.co.uk then select UK sites
