I am hoping to plant my early earlies on St Patricks day-how long then should I leave to plant the earlies?

Don't you put them all in as soon as practicable (chitted if possible but not essential)  & let them do their own thing?

i planted my early earlies on the 1st feb and they have just broken the surface of the ground this week. they were all chitted

My early earlies arrived here considerably later than my late lates IYKWIM. ::) So the maincrops are in an advanced state of chitting and the early earlies have just begun.... ???
