I scrapped the rhubarb I had, as lots of it started to to rot  :(
But the guy who has the plot next to me gave me 4 crown when he split his up this winter, so next year I'll be harvesting my own...

Hi Lish, how's it going bonny lass  ;D , i did build 3 yes 3 wind turbines but they all got pinched  >:( . I then started a 350 watt one but if you have read the thread about my old lottie you will know that i packed it in  :-\ . I have bought a new one (lottie) and boy is it big  ??? it'll take me the next 5 years to sort it out  :-\ , i've aleady built a shed and greenhouse and i'm building another bigger greenhouse this weekend (need more space already). Then it'll be back to the turbines, a small one first then into the 350 watt  ;D ;D , it'll be able to light up the full site (it'll look like blackpool  ;D). So i'll be a bit busy this weekend come h*ll or high water, and end up walking home with a Zimmer frame 2 walking sticks and a wheelchair, but it'll be worth it in the end  ;D ;D ;D. The other thing is I have a new puter for the house so i'll be able to talk to you all at the weekends instead of at work  ;D ;D ;D , that's when i get it connected of course, so watch out the mad prof is back in business and raring to go  8) ;D 8) .

Aw shucks! What a grand welcome back! Thank you all... and what a fraud I feel..haven't planted any seeds & no intention of doing so for the next week or so........too dashed cold in here and 'sides, I remember Bob Flowerdew's advice once that it was never too late & things will always catch up.......true, I found....just reading and listening to gardeners who were harvesting mammoth delish produce before me, tho, was a bit off-putting..

Never mind! Next year will be better!! With Jethro's help (and a large supply of Cadbury's mis-shapes to keep him going) I'll have a super-dooper greenhouse with incorporated wind-thingy , won't I?  8)
