Hello.....Good  Morning and What are your plans this Weekend

No Gardening Here today its Frost Bound!! :'( :'(

Well I have so much still to do, I can feel the spring approaching, and I will struggle to be ready at this rate !!! Planting up shallots and broad beans this morning, plus more clearing out couch grass ... and more parsnips to lift ...

No allotment for me today, OH is working and I've got the two kiddies with me, J isn't feeling too well so it will be a day at home today. Might get some more done on the quilt I'm making and put some fresh wood shavings in the hen house today. Then if there's nothing else to do I might have to do some housework (shudder) euuuwwww. Have a nice day whatever you're doing today :)

Best laid plans -I'm turning my paths into trenches -I'm a bit low on soil and it will eventually end up on the beds. But, as ever stuff happens, there was a delivery of fresh horse poo to be stacked -which meant bagging or using last years so mulched the apple trees and saved 3 bags for later. So one path finally dug and the adjacent bed covered in black membrane.

Not sure about the rest of the weekend -another path if I'm lucky, otherwise it's family time  ;D

Did some sowing in the week -aubs, peppersm par-cel, croad beans and Hispi cabbage -says it will be ready April/May time!

Bit late for good morning but hi everyone anyway.  My plans didn't amount to much apart from a little light shopping this morning but that all changed when the man from the allotments rang me and asked me to meet him so he could show me my new plot!  Won't go into all the details as I have been bragging enough on the Basics board!   ;D

Now tomorrow's plans - well I don't know where to start really ..... :-\

Thanks Tulip - I've just ordered myself two composters from our local council - my first allotment purchase!   ;D   I guess maybe some seeds would be good sometime! ;)
