Has hit December, so am feeling festive, just really can't face binning 3 trees worth of cards, in a couple of weeks, from people I see every day, and can shout "HAPPY CHRISTMAS" to......has nothing to do with the fact Christmas is only 2 weeks away and haven't even started.... :o

But this is the Bah Humbug thread, Lottie ... as for binning Christmas cards, well that will start as soon as I receive them ...

They go back into our recycling bins Wardy ... it is just the principle of me not having Christmas cards ... The two that have been given to me so far were addressed to Derek and family, so I have passed them over to the family to open ...

I'm a big fans of some time to share nice food, drink and gifts with people I like, and like having the personal space at this time of year to review the past and  look forward to the next year with some optimism.

I don't really buy into all the other stuff people try and squeeze into the season of good will too.

All the best for the festive season and have a nice one.

I'm on 12-hour day shifts on 24th & 25th december & couldn't be happier.   The company has arranged for christmass dinner to be cooked and brought in for us all (so no cooking and cleaning for me).   There's even more crap on TV than usual (if possible).   I can't go out 'cos everywhere is closed

As long as no major faults develop on the network I should be able to spend both days with my nose in a good book, which for me is much better.
