Hi I went to some allotments today, I spoke to one of the the guys down there and he told me that there were allotments going, but I would have to speak to the treasurer, he told me where she lived.
I went to speak to her, and I am meeting her tommorrow, looks promising  :D
She did warn me that they were overgrown, which is not a problem.
I have the rest of the winter to dig dig dig  ::)
I will let you all know tommorrow how I get on.

Good luck with the getting a plot Iain.
Neil (The Young Ones) once said "You plant the seed, the seed grows, you harvest the seed....You plant the seed....."   if only it was that simple!!!

Derekthefox

hi the plot is overgrown but not as bad as i thought it was, the lady that had it before only gave it up because of a bad back.
I don't know how when gave it up though.
It is plot 20b, there is no shed and no compost bin or water butt, but i will get them as I go along.

Iain :D :D :D ;)

Ian   She probably did her back in with all that digging.  Let that be your first lesson  ;D
I came, I saw, I composted

Delilah

Wll done Iain, pleased to hear you gat a plot, direct action often pays off
If you don't make mistakes, you'll never make anything!

Derekthefox

Advocating your no-dig approach again Wardy  ;D
