Dug the precious leeks earlier today, finely sliced wth butter, salt, pepper and cumin. Started cooking. Just have a quick few minutes on A4A. Half hour later, hhhmmm what's that smell?  Aaarggh no my leeks - burned to a crisp.  Curses curses curses.  >:(

Hee hee UP, yes, I think rehab must be the best place for me. Quiet and  peaceful. just wot I need. Forced down the carbon on principle, cos I grew it. Wish I hadn't. Might need the enema after all. Too late. Oooohhh nooo, excuse me...........

Back now and Ok. Don't send out the search party.

You're right DtF, this Interweb thingy does have its drawbacks. I personally blame A4A users for distracting me from my well-earned tucker  :D

Thank, Tulip, loads more still in the ground waiting for my destructive cooking attempts.

Oh Boris.... welll if it was just the enemas ..... never mind, you'll soon get over it, I'm sure..... :-\

As I keep explaining to my wife, boris ... this multitasking thing is all well and good, until it goes wrong, so I insist on only doing one thing at a time (it still goes wrong mind !!!).

Hi Guys

I will get this over with whilst Lottie isn't looking in  ;)

I asked my Governor a few months ago exactly what 'multi-tasking' was.
After she had picked herself up off the floor laughing she lectured me chapter and verse on the female art of multi-tasking.

I replied, to my cost, that we men did that type of thing as a matter of course...I didn't manage duck in time... Gosh she was quick!!!

I subsequently became the butt of many comments to her female friends as 'the man who dared to ask 'what muti-tasking was'...they all thought it was hilarious...

WHY!!!.. I thought it a perfectly rational question... but then again....I am just a mere male  ;D  ;D

I am in my own little world, ...it's OK, ...they know me there!

wardy

My husband multi-tasks very well.  He can read the paper, watch telly and drink lager at the same time  ::)
I came, I saw, I composted

I thought you would have realised by now Derek, that is it best just to let some things lie ...

Oh Derek.... pats on head fondly...do you really think I'd miss a post a matey did......

wardy

I came, I saw, I composted

Derekthefox

Just examined your previous post Wardy, since I avoid multitasking where possible, I would concentrate on drinking the lager ... or rhubarb wine perhaps ...

Derekthefox  ;D

wardy

I know you can multi task Derek as you cook and there's nowt more MT than that  :)
I came, I saw, I composted

Derekthefox

Hmmm, you haven't tasted my cooking though Wardy ...

Derekthefox :D

Heldi

I'll bet you're very enterprising with your cooking Capt'n

Derekthefox

Ha ha Helly, I have been known to 'make it so ... '  ;D
