Hang on, I need to get my head round this, being the sort of person that just 'does' things.

You use a book to learn about self sufficiency ... ?

  Well its like this...books are the fountain of knowledge..whats so hard about
that..no need to get your head round it...just put your head in the book
you might find you might even learn something !!! ::) ::) struth

I suppose the info in the book was once passed down through the generations but has been lost since we became a lazy throw away society that puts more emphasis on the latest this and the updated that!!

how many homes do you think have a PS1, PS2 and a PSP as well as an X Box,  all the different Gameboys .............. the list goes on!!!!!

I'm thinking of trying my hand at a bit of brain surgery later.  I got a book out the library and I am going to practice on my children.  I have three so I should have cracked it before I run out of subjects.

He he he Wardy do you think I am a bit wicked !!! I regard myself as one of those self sufficient people who use books to fill in gaps in knowledge, which is what everyone is saying, and we all have gaps, of various sizes on different subjects. It amused me to query the need for a book on the subject of self sufficiency ... I think I jangled a few replies !!!  ;D ;D ;D
