At last - we have just had the first frost in the Chilterns.  -1.5C and lots of lovely glittering leaves in the early morning sun.

Last year the first real frost was this date, too!

Fantastic frost in Devon last night.

Everything glistening white this morning, now feeling very smug as I picked the last of my Butternuts yesterday.

Down the plot yesterday, the missus pointed out that a couple of the strawberry plants were producing fruit; not red obviously but they were a good size, but still, that can't be right surely. It's the middle of November!! ???

We noticed fruits on strawberry yesterday too - but lasts nights frost will soon put a stop to that !
If you don't make mistakes, you'll never make anything!
