Hello another potatoe question,
All the foliage on my pots is lovely and green and looks very healthy :).

Now what do i do next?    How long do i leave them like this ?  Do  they have to flower?   This is my first time of growing them.   They were supposed to be for Christmas.  Thank you in advance for your help.  Rosebud.

Earht them up and do not panic.  Do not harvest until the floiage has at least started to die back - unless you get blight in which case cut back the foliage and wait for two weeks before digging.  Hopefully they should just continue to bulk up and then die back in time for that late December festival you were talking about.

I have some spuds growing for christmas.  The leaves and stalks suddenly turned  black, but the spuds look great, will leave them in the ground a little longer.

The haulms of my christmas spuds went black and I have left the spuds in the ground.

Can they stay there for christmas, or must I dig them up?
What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

I'm going to leave mine in the ground as long as possible.  Not sure if they will keep till Christmas otherwise.  I'll keep checking on them weekly.

Fingers crossed
