I picked this up in a local shop, but realised all the terminology is a bit complex for me. The calendar bit is still useful til December for letting you know when to plant/harvest/etc, but I suspect I'll give up for this year and get the 2006 book next year! It's in excellent condition.

Anyone fancy sending me a couple of packets of seeds in exchange? Easy to grow snail-repellant ones, especially. ;)

I watched that BBC2 programme today 'The Big Dig' about allotmenteers - it's on for 10 days (today was the first) at 3.30 til 4.30 each day....one of the lottie holders - a female architect - is fascinated by planting by this method and over the next 9 programmes, we shall be seeing what sort of progress she makes - along with the other plot holders.....I enjoyed it.
