I think I may have said this before, my Spybot and Adaware of late are not finding any problems on my PC, this I find very strange and makes me think they are not working, as they both used to find problems.

Unless as I have said before that Microsoft security is working very well and keeping my PC clean. ::)

Have you updated Spybot recently?

I have used it for a year or so and like you I wasn't getting any bits and pieces showing up...I updated and 'boy' a couple of pages full of the darned things

Well Adaware doesn't find anything either ::) they both congratulate me on not finding any bugs ??? but I will try the update thingy and report back ;)

Hi Katynewbie, just read about your virus problem, heres a free virus scan link,
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
copy and paste it in your task bar and press go
just select UK, then click yes to install,
it will take some time to find your problem but if you follow the promps you'll be ok, hope this helps,

yeah housecall is good, but remember to use IE6 (not Firefox)

Another good one is eTrust - again that will only work with IE.

I updated both Adaware and Spybot, Adaware found nothing, Spybot found DSO something or other (Microsoft H/key?) and Microsoft virus checker and Firewall ::) ??? I'm no wiser other than still think Microsoft is doing the biz ??? well I hope so. ;D

Hi Katy

Windows '98 does.

Click on start, Hi-light settings, select control panel, double click on display, select background tab, select new wallpaper.

Hope this helps
