Hello everyone

Just putting out some feelers to see if anyone would like to swap something in return for my Mantis?  We have only used the darned thing once - it is as good as new.  In return ideally I'd like a petrol mower of similar value - one that doesn't need the fuel mixing!  Adjustable mowing height is also a must.

The Mantis was £300, bought brand new.  I would sell it via Ebay for £150, I think, just to give you an idea of what the mower should be worth.

Any interest?

Hi there

It is quite a small tiller - I will endeavour to take a photo some time this week.  It is, however, exactly the sort shown in this advert:

:) Charlie, why can't you return it on the "One year risk free" option? you'd get your full £300 back then? ???

Simple - have had it more than a year.  Always thought I would use it again - had plans to set up a small gardening business, but my arthritis got worse.  :P It is the lightest tiller there is, but still too heavy for me now.  DOH!

Hi, we have a Qualcast Suffolk petrol mower, rarely used and in really good condition. We could deliver it to you if you are interested? Would love a mantis tiller as our lottie needs a lot of hard work to break up the clay we have here.

Well, I would be interested.  However, I learned this evening that my other half has promised the tiller to his brother in law.   ::)  Erm, sorry about that - I was a bit annoyed since I like the sound of your mower.  :(
