Has anyone else been pestered - especially in the last few days - by Nigerian solicitors' offers of a million or two? We are getting one a day!

Coincident with this - ?

Tim, I have had so much  SPAM and unsolicited mail I have stopped counting !  ??? :(  In fact, when I do not recognise the "issuer", the said mail goes straight to SPAM and then deleted.
Enjoy today to the full.  You are not sure of a tomorrow.

i would recommend using Mailwasher - its free to download and disposes of my spam and blocks effeciently also.

Mine are much more clued up - some wonderfully intricate stories about Iraqi generals and members of their families ???

All best - Gavin

ouby - yes - but even with the built-in facility of 'Message - Block Sender' etc, it's those that come up with a different address every time, so that you can't pre-block them, that bug me.

Like 'barrister Daniel Otah', who is also 'Dan Imo', who is also 'Paul Ibe' ('bless you'!!), who is also 'Adejuwon Babatunde (Esq) etc etc. Or 'Colby Novak re [13] & the like.

Coming back to my last post, am I right in saying that Mailwasher does need a 'constant, dedicated' address - for want of a better description?

I mean, 192 is always 192. eBay is always eBay. And, as such, can easily be blocked.

I'm afraid i dont know  to much about mailwasher blocking preferences.

Ever seen this site? people getting there own back on nigerian scammers by generally wasting their time and resources by 'scambaiting'. some of it is a bit extreme and sometimes childish but when plagued with these scammmers i have been in the past your sympathy is very little.

I receive those periodically, but my latest was a scam supposidly from ebay telling me my account had been suspended due to incorrect use and to click on the link and re-input my information!  The email address was something like 'eday'.  I forwarded it to the security dept of ebay and yup, it was a scam!  They chanced their luck anyhow, I don't have an ebay account!

Always getting that kind of thing, especially the ones from banks asking to confirm details sort code etc, some look very professional it is easy to see how people get sucked in. These scammers really are scum.
