Right here goes.   Greenwizzard No that is not a frog by the pot its a lovely piece of wood, i have this thing about lovely wood shapes i have 3/4 dotted about the garden, and some indoors..........I had a white Dicentra and OH thought it was a weed, it was only small and new, and promptly disposed of it :o :o, that was about 4yrs ago and i never did get another one :'(...............
Dibber our pieris would not grow properly so we dug it up and put it in that pot with Ericacios?? compost never looked back, why don't you give it a go..................
Bizzie Lizzie yes that is a dear little gnome, i have about 6 of them very cute. ;).

Hi Pat , i thought you lived just up the road from me in Old Harlow,? That bleeding heart , i am ashamed of the way i treat it as soon as it is finished i pull most of it up and break  (not cut) :o :o it down to the ground then have the cheek to feed it, but it always gives me a beautiful display......................
I think i have answered every question i hope so . Thank you very much for your kind comments on my garden, we have been busy out there most of the day.............Regards  Mary.

Mum, will you come and make my garden look like yours, please?

I'll be in all weekend if you feel like coming over.

There is so much to be done but it all looks too much like hard work for me.

I'll even throw in a cup of tea and some custard creams if you can make it look like that last picture of yours

rosebud

Well i know i am cheap but really custard creams NO!!! has to be dark choc digestive. ;D ;D ;D.

lorna

Oh Rosebud  beautiful beautiful I am green with envy (in the nicest possible way!!) Can you look at my posts in about five years time and if I can manage to lose some of my novice status MAYBE my poor little bleeding hearts and my pieris will look something like yours., no harm in wishful thinking. Thank you so much for those lovely pics. Lorna

Tsk!  You just can't get the staff nowdays.  Some people, eh?  ::)

Ok, dark choc digestives it is then (ugh!) but with the extra expense, it means you will have to do
some overtime  :P

Giving the garden a big overhaul, and I can't remember the name of the tall green and mauve plant you gave us years ago.  Nice and tall, gets lovely dark mauvey flowers on top each year.  Doesn't need much maintenance?  I know, could be anything from that description.  The name is on the tip of my tongue but I just cannot remember it, grrr!  It's now growing about knee height.  I've checked and it's not Liatris.  Seeing as it's the gallery, I shall take a pic and plonk it on tomorrow, I don't have time now.

Marianne

Planted this ceanothus about one year and a half ago as a twig and I think it looks great ! ;D
