I thought it was lovely! (weren't those trees in the Church a marvellous idea!)  And I also thought her dress choice for the blessing was spot on, and looked great!

Have to add my congratulations too.  What a lovely occasion. ;D  I love the little touches like the tree's too.  Especially liked all the royals and close family being shipped up to the castle in a charra  :o  Mind you they all seemed to be having a great time.  Didnt Camilla look very elegant.  I thought that her choice of outfit was gorgeous and loved the hat/head dress.  Hope that they will be very happy and content together.
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

Well I was wondering what type of grass that was on her hair, definately an ornamental, looked a bit like miscanthus, wonder if she'll post it on, it'd be a treat in the compost or for the birds nesting material. Dress was a bit boring..but it went without a hitch...didn't it? I only caught a glimpse. ::)

Unfortunately I was at an auction until very late but will catch up with the day's events later.  I wish them both all the very best too.   :D

But why did they have to choose our Wedding Anniversary?
Still at least being out all day we have been able to miss it all. Hope they are very happy though!

The service was beautiful, especially the last hymn, the choir gave me goosebumps! Did she have to wear a blue robe-like dress though, with a gold head-piece that looked like so many of the halos depicted in stained-glass windows? Pretty, but given the circumstances, tasteless. I wish them both well, but I'm disappointed that Camilla will be our next Queen.

i thought the dress and coat was very stylish and appropriate but i wasn't sure about the halo!!

i enjoyed watching all the royals shuffling and chatting while waiting in the chapel (just like every other congregation)

20K for a dress~obscene :o. just think of all the plants we could buy for that kind of money.

Is that how much the dress cost?  Amazing!  I thought the colour a bit dull then really liked how it flowed as she went back down the aisle.  I wasn't bothered about the wedding but I now wish them happiness and hope they can be left in peace.  Hopefully the papers will have less "news" about them now.

I  will wish them the Best...............BUT????

I HOPE SHE CAN MAKE CORNISH PASTIES!!! ;D ;D ;D

I would have been happy Charles marrying again if only it hadn't been to the person he was having an affair with during his marriage! saying that I hope they have a happy and hassle/press free life from now on.
What do you think of William becoming the next King instead of Charles?
Being Welsh I have a bit of an issue with Camilla being called Princess of Wales

johcharly

Camilla isn't going to be referred to as the Princess Of Wales, she is the Duchess of Cornwall.

johcharly

No doubt some people in Cornwall will have a problem with that. I do think it's outdated that they are given the titles like that anyway.

Marianne

I don't really care what they call her.  As long as they are both happy  :D
