Not that I will be doing much on the Lottie today. There was an annual event going on this weekend when all the old buses from all over the country drive different routes around the island and passengers go for free. The only stops are outside of pubs, It is called Beer and Buses. All the pubs get in special real ales and I managed 6 stops some of them we had a long wait until the next one so you had to have another pint while you were waiting. It is on again today but I am providing some of the entertainment at one of the stops. If you are ever coming here for a break this is the weekend to do it.  https://iwbeerandbuses.co.uk/

It hasn't stopped raining here for days!  Well there was a brief interlude yesterday afternoon - after I had been to the plot and got soaked.

either 10th and 11th October or 17th and 18th October, They will not know until they know the school half term dates as the ferries cannot cope if there is a school holiday period.

You'll have to keep us posted Ace.

Having reviewed the link Ace has provided, the fleet of buses is quite extensive and travels from many parts of the nation. It might be possible for interested groups to contact a local owner to 'sponsor' his fuel costs and get a return passage, door to door.

A Jolly Boys outing would be just the thing to celebrate the end of the season.
