I am waiting for email link which they say is coming 4th December.  But the list is on line for browsing but seems you cannot choose until 4th.

saddad

Obviously my "hard copy" is sent slightly earlier... even if I get it into the post today it won't be much ahead of the online requests.

You do not need the email you can just log onto the site with you membership no and password.
My mailing when into my not Focused area with all the ads so I did not see it for a while.  I have finally worked out how to change from Focused to other and vice versa.

Seacarrot

I am a returning member with hsl, my order of Herbies purple podded pea, lettuce brown gold ring, leek Coloma, pea salmon flowered, dfb trinity, dfb bobs best has arrived, with lucky dip of pepper sheeps nose.

I did seed saving course parts 1 & 2 with them at Ryton this year and was given free hsl seeds during those courses.

Roll on spring.

We grew salmon flowered peas, but preferred them as an ornamental, rather than for eating.. OK in cooking, curries and so  on.. but not great fresh or on their own.

Mine came last week all my choices were there and Golden yellow queen tomato lucky dip.

Digeroo

I got a packet of tomato as my lucky dip, which is a bind because I have promised myself not to even think about tomatoes.  I grow them every year only to be find as soon as they ripen they blight sets in.

That's a lovely extra, Pumpkinlover.  Ripens well here and a very famous historic
tomato bred by Livingstone:  http://www.victoryseeds.com/tomato_livingston_golden_queen.html

Can't wait for mine to arrive

It does sound interesting.
My order came back quickly so you should not have long to wait.

saddad

I lost the discussion about "another" tomato... we had sixty varieties... but have slimmed down to 45.  That Yellow Livingstone sounds interesting. I have several greenhouses and polytunnels so manage to grow out about 24 varieties each year... and save new seed.

Digeroo

I have old yellow candy Stripe if you are interested.

Would it still be worth being a member if you couldn't see the gardens? Be interesting to see if they reduce the membership cost as they are reducing the perks?
