Badgers and broad beans.

 :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: Just got back from my plot, had to pick broad beans although a bit on the small side as the badger has started clearing them from the plots. If it wasn't that I feel I need the exercise I think I might pack up , I am  sure the badgers would live without me feeding them. :BangHead: :BangHead:

I know the feeling well Laurie they are a b****y nuisance although I would say recently there has been no sign of them ( hope these are not famous last words)

Like you I am thinking of cutting back hence the alterations in my garden at home where I hope to grow just enough for me and 'tother half'

Time will tell!

I was going to make a smartarse comment about broad beans nicely complimenting the gamey flavour of badger meat, but instead lease have my sympathy. When something just obliterates what you are growing (slugs taking out 24 French beans overnight was my worst), you start to wonder why you are keeping the plot on.
