Couldn't think what "other"might be - then thought it might be SPIDERS  :o :o and other insecty type creatures.  Is it ???  Just that although I no longer break out in a  sweat being close to a spider I could never imagine them being "the sweetest" creatures...........
Equality isn't everyone being the same, equality is recognising that being different is normal.

It's a mammal for me. My favourite is Orangutang. I just love them. Also pengiuns, toads, worms, and horses, of course!
gone to pot :D

Gardening is the great leveller.

Wicker don't you dare mention the 'S'  word.. Had quite enough of those in the last week.  >:(
For me it has to be dogs first then cats.   Love em to bits... Well they are my child substitutes now my two have grown and flown.
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

I love most animals, not sure I have a favourite.   I've kept snakes they make lovely pets (so long as you pick a suitable breed) love cats, horses, dogs, cows (I want cows) but ok my favourite I think are gekos.  I used to have a Madagascan Giant Day Geko (not very giant I have to say!!) the most beautiful bright green geko cheeky expression but very difficult to keep, as they are so timid you have to keep their tank in a quiet place as they don't like loud noises, they can litereally die from fright.  Once when cleaning ou the tank, caugt the geko (his name was Gerkin) but he escaped and legged it up the wall.  We lived in a flat in a converted factory with very high ceiling.  We didn't think we'd ever get him back.  Was a very very funny hour trying to catch him.

Sorry turned into a bit of a ramble on there.

This is really hard. Is it in regards to pets or animals in general?

My favourite animals are rhinos but I couldn't fit one into my back garden!

I love cats and dogs,I've kept rodents,I have fish but I also have a love of chickens/hens and I think ducks are really sweet.  Is that my answer then?

Gardengirl

It's a difficult one, but I think mammals has to be the one for me.  I love my cats and dogs but my favourites of all the wild variety have to be the big cats, plus elephants, monkeys etc., giraffes - I could go on - all of  them I suppose ;D :D
Happy gardening all...........Pat

My dog in my avatar.Despite being a hulking big beastie-he's a real gentle giant with a  heart of gold!

But,he's a bit ill at the moment and vets have discovered a 'shadow' on his liver-so am keeping my fingers crossed...
Talk to the elbow-its got a point

Gardengirl

A friend of mine has a rottie Steven.  They are, as you say, gentle giants.  I do hope that the shadow on his liver is nothing too serious and can be treated.  He looks a lovely boy :)
Happy gardening all...........Pat
