DaveM Welcome to A4A. Gets very addictive. Know your part of the world reasonably well. Have Nephew (who has kennels) in Cliffe Nr Rochester also several relations in Kentish areas. Maidstone etc. I originate from Eltham but have lived in the Fens for 33 years. Still hanker for "Home". Lorna.

DaveM

Thanks for the welcome

Lorna, I used to live in Cliffe aka cabbage island about 10yrs ago still pop out there for a walk now and again.

Hi Lottie,
No mine is in Belstead..near the railway line (which my hubby loves:(....he has to look at every bl##dy train that goes by!) it's a lovely site surrounded by the countryside ;D ;D

DaveM

Lorna,
Cooling st, well known to me i used to play cricket for cooling cc. Many happy memories of the area. :)
As i said like to get out there as often as i can...last time was 3-4 weeks ago, took a walk on the marshes stopped in the horseshoe and castle for a drink and Bill Oddie was in there he'd been out bird watching.

all the best

My first allotment which I have had for 6 months is in Leeds. I'm finding it increasingly addictive as the weeks go by.

boris

Farnborough, Hampshire.
Park Road Lotties.

Right next to tap and car park. Waited 2 years for it and  couldn't believe my luck. Also has 2 walls and a roof (shed!)
Loads of rhubarb and raspberries from previous tenants.
Must have made the year's rent (£23) in raspberries alone.
What I couldn't eat I turned into 2 gals of wine. Fantastic stuff.

Another wino, great !!!

boris

It's true I'm afraid, love the stuff.
IMO of all the fruit wines, raspberry is the one which keeps the fruit flavour best. It's like alcoholic raspberry juice (er,  cos that's what it is)
Yum Yum.
