Be aware some of these are brassicas  so they can boost any clubroot in the soil ...

Yes thanks Picman. I saw that on the web link. I guess its best to follow normal rotation rules.

Field beans are quite expensive to buy in small quantities.  I have bought a packet of Hodmedod's whole fava beans from a local garden centre food department and they germinate very well. (And make great baked beans).  I also have some Wizards saved before the voles got to them.  Plan to get them in next week just before it rains, so less time for the voles and squirrels to get them.
