Almonds & medlars at Costco

Very late in the season, but Costco have got their fruit trees in.  As well as the usual apples and plums, they had almond and medlar trees.  Two years old by the looks of them, Dutch grown, in 7.5 litre pots, at £12.99.  No mention of the rootstock on the labels, though.

So if anyone is after one or other of these more unusual trees, they looked absolutely smashing specimens.
