Tulip fields around Spalding?

On our travels in the van this week we went in search of the tulip fields around Spalding. We saw a few small fields of daffs (mostly finished now) and tulips, but apart from the displays at the Springfield Festival Gardens (strange place, part of a shopping outlet), were disappointed. Were we looking in the wrong place, or do all the tulips come from Holland now?
