Allotment break-ins across Redcar & Teeside

Allotment sites at Saltburn, Loftus, Skelton and Guisborough have had break-ins recently. Mostly engine powered equipment stolen but many plot dwellings were damaged.  One site in Guisborough apparently had every allotment on its site broken into and vandalised last night; and a badly disabled plotholder on a nearby site had his rotovator recently stolen. Police have been on site this afternoon.
