Well, it's started turning. It's the biggest we've ever grown apart from one a few years ago that was invaded by a red ant colony so this one is in a net. Or the one 7 years ago that got nicked. So, how yellow does it have to be. So excited, may get to taste one this year

I'm not going to be much help, none of the melons I've grown the last couple of years have been of the yellow kind. I tend to go on smell, when it starts wafting they are ready!

I had a message from an expert, we are currently enjoying eating it. Lovely flavour. Just picked a smaller one and we have a medium sized one left on the vine.
Next year, I will plant 2 plants and fertilise 3 on each

No idea, my markers got mixed up so,it's just a yellow melon, the inside is a lovely orange
