ACE - you'll be pleased to know that my Micra passed the
M.O.T. yesterday with flying colours.  :blob7:

It is now 16 years old and has done a massive 38,000 miles.

Just thought I'd share this news with you.

38 thousand! I do that in twelve months some years when things are busy. Did they remember to feed the hamster and oil his wheel when it was in the garage.

I knew you'd be pleased.

It did just over 1,000 last year, but that's only because my husband drove it
while his (Micra) was in the garage.

Nissan has just recalled 134,000 micras, guess what the problem is. The nut that holds the steering wheel. This is true, I know you could not make it up, but check it out on line.

I think I might have jinxed them by writing about mine.

I'm surprised that Squash64's car lasted so long AND TO HAVE TWO, you must be nuts.
At 3800miles the engine must be full of water, it never gets hot enough to evaporate the rubbish in the sump!!
You must have a bus pass? I do so use it - your pension will go much further!!

I don't think I'd be allowed on a bus, even if I did have a bus pass (I don't)
Today, I took 3 boxes full of squashes to the allotments, plus a bag with all my
'secretary stuff' which weighs a ton.

Then there are the two crates for my dogs, and the scarecrow which sits in the
passenger seat sometimes.

What's not to love about a Micra?  :happy7:
