Petition about my local park

There are 13 cricket pitches in our local park and we have just heard
that the council wants to increase them to 15.  They want to put the extra
2 in an area which is used by many local people for walking, both with and
without dogs, for football (there are goal posts) kite-flying, and by the
scout and cubs groups.

We feel that there are already enough cricket pitches in the park and extra
ones could be put in other parks.

The Friends of the park have organised a petition but it doesn't look as
though many people have signed the online one yet.

If you have a few minutes, please would you sign it?  It won't matter that
you don't live near the park, you could be visiting.  Who wouldn't want to
visit Birmingham! :toothy10:
