Funny how these 2 are always together. They seem to love sundflower hearts big time! Always make me smile to see them try and land direct on the table.

Sorry the picture is not great, taken with a 10X zoom.

;DOh for goodness sake..I thought at least one thread would be immune from rodents....... ;DWe've got a pair on our bird table and they will chase off any intruders but only their own kind, they give the other birds a bit of space. I've seen the robin join them. :)

I always have a pair of collared doves at my bird table and they nick all the seed the greedy things.  They have nibbled the perches off the feeder and enlarged the feeding holes  :)  I lost one last year. My sister found one injured on the drive and I took it to the vet but it died on the way home despite it having no real injuries poor thing.  We're lucky enough to have them breeding in our garden every year but you do tend to get divebombed a bit  ;D  Some people don't like them but I think they're real characters.  My Jack Russell hates them and makes it his lifes work to chase them away.  He barks to make them fly off and then chases them.  It keeps him occupied  :)
